Job Title:

Production and Costing Controller

Role Overview:

As a key member of our organization, you will oversee the production process, manage costs, and drive profitability. Your expertise in product costing, margin analysis, and profitability reports will enable data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate product cost structures, BOMs, and overhead allocations.
  • Support management in pricing strategy development and ensure profitable product positioning.
  • Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and recommend cost optimization measures.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to control costs and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor SKU-wise, region-wise, and customer-wise profitability performance.
  • Provide actionable insights to sales and marketing teams for informed decision-making.
  • Support new product launches with cost simulation and profitability projections.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, audits, and company policies.
  • Develop and present monthly/quarterly product controlling reports for management review.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Product Controlling / Costing / Business Finance in sanitaryware, faucets, FMCG, or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting, pricing models, and financial controlling.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and present actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel and MIS reporting.
  • Strong coordination skills across sales, marketing, supply chain, and production teams.
  • Analytical mindset, process-oriented, and detail-focused.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • From industries like Sanitaryware, Faucets, Pipes & Fittings, FMCG, or Consumer Durables.
  • Experience with high-SKU environments and channel-driven businesses.
  • Ability to work closely with senior management and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Comfortable handling multi-location operations and working with cross-functional teams.
