Lead Data Engineer Position

The Lead Data Engineer will be a key member of our data engineering team, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines. This role requires strong programming skills, cloud expertise, and in-depth knowledge of Big Query/Snowflake data warehousing technologies.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a Lead Data Engineer and play a critical role in driving business growth through data-driven decision making. The successful candidate will lead the design and architecture of scalable and efficient data pipelines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming, with expertise in languages like Python. They will also possess extensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and demonstrate deep understanding and hands-on experience with BigQuery/Snowflake for efficient data storage, processing, and analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement effective data models to support ETL processes and ensure data integrity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and guidance to junior data engineers.
  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering roles with a focus on programming, cloud platforms, and data warehousing.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
