Spatial Data Migration Expert

Job Title: GIS Data Specialist

  • We seek a highly skilled professional with expertise in FME and Utility Network implementations to lead and execute complex GIS data migration projects.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects, especially within the utilities sector (electric, gas, water, telecom).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute GIS data migration projects with a focus on Utility Network implementations.
  • Design, build, and optimize FME workspaces for geospatial data migration, transformation, and automation.
  • Define and implement data migration strategies from legacy network models to modern utility GIS platforms.
  • Analyze utility datasets (electric, water, gas, telecom) to ensure accurate schema mapping and topology validation.
  • Maintain data integrity, quality, and performance across migration workflows.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in GIS, with at least 3+ years of hands-on expertise in FME.
  • Strong experience in Utility Network modeling and migration.
  • Proven background in GIS data migration and transformation projects within the utilities domain.
