Job Summary

The Product Manager at Rapido will be part of a dynamic team focused on problem-solving, metrics-driven decision-making, and science-based experimentation. You will take ownership of specific products and funnels, contributing to problem-solving through product development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate user empathy, interpret data insights, and actively engage in the data science and product development process.

Responsibilities
  • Develop dual-track science-centric roadmaps for cross-functional development and analysis teams.
  • Create experiment tracks: Design implementable experiments hypothesized by data or user research and arrive at decisions that can be implemented after successful or failed experiments.
  • Drive user interviews to gain additional insights and discover hidden problems.
  • Design value-centric feature roadmaps for the tech team, using validated models and outcomes.
  • Analyze experiment results and interpret the outcomes in the users' and business context.
  • Understand business challenges and goals to formulate questions for data analysis and model creation that support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to create models and frameworks powering products.
  • Work with data engineers to define the data lifecycle of products, including productizing data science and AI models.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3 years of overall work experience in product, data, or design.
  • Previous stint: Product Management (APM/PM/SPM) Professional or senior professionals in related fields transitioning to product management, such as data science or product design.
  • Good understanding of basic statistics.
  • Proficient in SQL/Python and experienced in analyzing metrics, with a good grasp of data understanding.
  • Some experience with product design and development processes.
  • Some experience with Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practices.
  • Some understanding of scientific analytics methodologies and approaches.
