Job Title: iOS Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable iOS applications that leverage Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for communication with external devices.
  • Integrate BLE functionality into iOS apps to enable seamless communication with wearables, IoT devices, health monitors, and more.
  • Implement robust peripheral management to scan for and connect to BLE peripherals, read data from them, and send commands to control them.
  • Utilize BLE profiles, such as the Generic Attribute Profile (GATT), to define data exchange formats and characteristics for devices.
  • Develop background modes for your app to ensure BLE connections and data updates can continue even when the app is not in the foreground.
  • Implement error-handling mechanisms for Bluetooth connections and data exchange.
  • Address security concerns related to BLE communication, including encryption and secure pairing.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure the reliability and stability of the app's Bluetooth functionality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of iOS development and BLE technology.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Swift or Objective-C.
  • Familiarity with Xcode and other iOS development tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
