Solution Architect

As a seasoned solution architect, you will design and implement comprehensive architectures for finance systems and platforms. Your expertise will ensure that all relevant options are explored to meet business requirements, while adhering to company standards and policies.

The role involves coordinating with other architects in the delivery of solutions for clients, guiding them through the governance process. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Evaluating system architecture for finance functions, integrating IT systems according to organizational needs and aligned to enterprise architecture.
  2. Proposing and defining solution design options based on requirements and standards, patterns, and procedures. Providing recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions.
  3. Assessing project constraints to identify alternatives, mitigate risks, and propose process re-engineering if necessary.
  4. Facilitating walkthroughs of the to-be solution through forums like Business Playback, addressing solution-related questions and concerns from the business. Providing suitable solutions or workarounds.
  5. Reviewing and approving relevant documents, including Solution Design Documents, Functional Design Documents, and Technical Design Documents.
  6. Supervising and guiding development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Providing solutions guidance to technical and business teams for post-implementation issues during Hypercare and steady-state operations.
  8. Reviewing and approving change requests from an architecture and solutions perspective.
  9. Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions, continually assessing process improvements.
  10. Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and proposing changes to existing architectures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 12 years' experience in business analysis, development, and solution architecture, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) F&O product in an integrated architecture.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report business processes and associated solutions in D365.
  • Excellent knowledge of D365 configurations and features, including localizations.
  • Good understanding of D365 customizations and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of inbound and outbound integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps tools and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in solution definition.
  • Thorough understanding of design engineering principles and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and techniques, with excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Broad technical expertise combined with strong leadership and communication capabilities to drive innovation and change.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and DevOps processes.
