Job Title:
UI Automation Tester - Guidewire Specialist

We are seeking a skilled UI Automation Tester to join our team. As a UI Automation Tester, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain in-sprint automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.

- Align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories.

- Execute automated tests, log defects with detailed reproduction steps, and support defect triage.

- Create and manage test data and environment configurations for automation.

- Identify and maintain reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing.

- Contribute to the automation regression suite and maintain automation assets.

- Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently.

- Follow automation best practices and participate in peer reviews.

- Prepare and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).

- Support manual testing efforts when required, including test planning, execution, and reporting.

- Track and report QA metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and productivity.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 1–3 years of experience in functional and automation testing, preferably with Guidewire.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire policy center projects.

- Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools such as Playwright or JavaScript based frameworks like Cypress/ Selenium.

- Experience in Programming based Test Automation toolset and should be part of Test Design for minimum of 2 Years.

- Experience in working with Git Repository.

- Independently handle Test Code issue resolution, updates & Debugging.

- Exposure to QA lifecycle tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or equivalent.

- Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards.

- Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
