Job Description

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will oversee day-to-day application development projects and software engineering for our Reservations Platform group. You will directly manage software engineers and project managers, deliver on commitments to discipline partners, and collaborate with architects on major organizational initiatives across multiple channels & platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Application Development Standards, Processes, and Tools
  • Facilitate consistency of service delivery across client groups
  • Ensure compliance with standard application development tools and processes that drive consistency and predictability throughout the SDLC for all client groups
  • Monitor projects for adherence to defined application development processes
  • Communicate important application development policy changes that affect service provider and/or operations
Required Skills and Qualifications

You must have 10+ years of application development leadership experience, including technical experience within architecture development, integration of backend systems and development. You should also have in-depth knowledge of integration approaches and architectures, as well as deep understanding of cloud-native solution, microservices-architecture and API orchestration architecture.

In addition, you should have experience with technologies such as Java, NoSQL, Spring boot and WebFlux, Kafka, Docker, K8s, Cloud. You should also have direct management of cross functional, sourced, or matrixed teams, an undergraduate/graduate degree or equivalent education + experience, and demonstrated success leading medium- to large-scale initiatives/transformations.
