Job Title: Data Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned data engineer to design, build, and implement scalable data transformation pipelines.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in constructing high-performance data transformation workflows using Snowflake and dbt.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and deploy ELT pipelines utilizing dbt on Snowflake.
  • Develop ingestion processes from diverse sources into Snowflake.
  • Design and execute data modeling and transformation logic to support layered architecture.
  • Utilize orchestration tools to schedule and monitor data workflows.
  • Adhere to best practices in dbt: modular SQL development, testing, documentation, and version control.
  • Optimize performance in dbt/Snowflake through clustering, query profiling, materialization, partitioning, and efficient SQL design.
  • Contribute to the growth of an internal knowledge base for dbt macros, conventions, and testing frameworks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver accurate, validated datasets.
  • Necessary Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering roles.
  • Expert-level SQL understanding and strong grasp of ELT principles.
  • Familiarity with data quality and validation techniques.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and deployment workflows.
