About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Academic Content Developer to join our editorial team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in academic writing and research standards, with excellent command of the English language.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and editing scholarly manuscripts for clarity, coherence, and grammatical accuracy, while maintaining the author's original meaning and tone.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and edit academic content for publication in various formats.
- Verify arguments and presentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Adhere to specific style guides (APA, MLA, Chicago, IEEE) as required by manuscript.
- Provide constructive feedback to authors to improve work quality.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards concerning client materials.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a specific academic discipline.
- Proven experience in academic editing or scholarly publishing.
- Excellent command of the English language and familiarity with academic writing conventions.
