We're looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our team

Job Description

Design, develop and maintain high-performance Java-based backend applications for banking services.

This involves:

  • Developing efficient, scalable and secure Java-based backend applications
  • Maintaining existing applications to ensure optimal performance and security compliance
  • Conducting code reviews to identify areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback to colleagues
  • Participating in the full software development lifecycle from analysis to testing and deployment
  • Responding to service disruptions and incidents as part of our incident response procedures
  • Ensuring timely completion of projects and requests

Skills and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in software development with expertise in Java and J2EE technologies
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Web Services, XML, DevOps tools and unit test frameworks
  • Experience in migrating applications to CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Jira, Ansible and Rundeck
  • Proficiency in Agile methodology and global delivery models
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming and functional programming paradigms
  • Familiarity with HTTP and RESTful APIs
  • Experience working with cloud computing platforms, PaaS, IaaS, Docker and containerization
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
