Mortgage Manager Role

Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Mortgage Origination professional to lead our team and drive business growth.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for direct supervision of a group of mortgage originators, ensuring they meet departmental goals and objectives.
  • They will also be accountable for quality control and service level standards, analyzing data from various sources to identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance expertise: The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of RESPA/TRID review and other federal, state, and industry compliance requirements.
  • Collaboration: They will interface professionally with title companies, clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and lenders to ensure seamless transactions.
  • Customer-centric approach: The selected candidate will focus on delivering exceptional service by assisting with the application process, overseeing mortgage loan closings, and completing post-closing tasks efficiently.
  • Quality assurance: They will ensure adherence to lender underwriting guidelines and federal/state regulations to maintain high-quality residential mortgage loans and refinances.
  • Innovation: The candidate will identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures, driving efficiency and excellence within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Mortgage Origination, with a strong background in Correspondent lending for US Home Loan products.
  • Deep understanding of mortgage industry regulations and TRID guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong supervision, organizational, and mathematical skills.
  • Attention to detail and sound judgment to make informed decisions within established policies and procedures.
