We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our GitLab infrastructure.

">Job Description

  • You will assess the current infrastructure and determine requirements for implementing GitLab. This includes understanding Enterprise Architecture and Security standards and providing designs and implementations based on those.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand Enterprise Architecture and Security standards, providing designs and implementations based on those.

  • Install, configure, and manage GitLab on servers, leveraging Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code tools to set up required infrastructure.

  • Integrate GitLab with existing tools and services used by the corporation, configuring security settings and access controls.

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Azure DevOps, providing training and support to team members and engineers on using GitLab effectively.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues with GitLab infrastructure, implementing best practices for version control, code review, and collaboration.

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure successful adoption of GitLab, developing and maintaining documentation for setup and usage within the enterprise.

  • Recommend best practices around Microsoft Azure, GitLab, and assist with ad-hoc Azure DevOps queries, implementing scripts and routines to automate mundane tasks.

  • Provision and orchestrate container workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts, provisioning and maintaining AKS clusters following best practices.

  • Manage Windows and Linux instances, performing troubleshooting of issues on infrastructure, collaborating with the team to tackle tasks based on priority and requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A strong understanding of GitLab and its features, including CI/CD pipelines and security settings.

  • Experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Ansible and Terraform.
