Senior GPU Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GPU Architect to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge GPU computers for demanding deep learning, high-performance computing, and computationally intensive workloads.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and optimizing GPU architectures, as well as expertise in machine learning and deep learning techniques. They will be responsible for identifying architectural changes and new approaches to accelerate deep learning models, collaborating with various teams to drive end-to-end workflows from data curation and training to performance optimization and deployment, and assigning tasks to the team and monitoring progress.

The successful candidate will have a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and at least 7 years of relevant experience in machine learning, deep neural networks, numerical analysis, performance analysis, model compression, computer architecture, and container technologies like Docker and Singularity. They will also have hands-on expertise with PyTorch, TensorRT, CuDNN, CUDA, OpenCL, OpenACC, MPI, and OpenMP, as well as proficient Python programming and bash scripting skills.

This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to find creative practical solutions to problems. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Beyond the essential skills and qualifications, we welcome candidates with experience in HPC cluster job schedulers like Kubernetes, SLURM, LSF, familiarity with cloud computing architectures, and working knowledge of cluster configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Salt. A strong understanding of fast, distributed storage systems and Linux file systems for HPC workloads is also desirable.
