Job Title: Business Analyst

The role of a business analyst in the identity and access management (IAM) department involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across various locations, including Malaysia and Chennai, while engaging with global application teams. As an experienced business analyst, you will be responsible for conducting manual discovery of identity provider (IDP) and API gateway usage across the bank's applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the manual discovery of IDP and API gateway usage to identify integrations.
  • Engage with application teams, consolidate, and govern collected information, and build an accurate inventory of IDP/API usage.
  • Utilize questionnaires to capture details on authentication methods, credential lifecycles, and governance gaps.
  • Understand and document how API credentials and authentication lifecycles are managed across applications.
  • Maintain accurate records of IDP/API usage and provide insights to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of IT security best practices.
  • Good understanding of IAM control reviews and user access administration models.
  • Experience in managing projects related to identity and access management, particularly around IDP and API security.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders.
Preferred Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of IDP concepts and API authentication mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of project planning and risk management principles.
