Senior iOS Application Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Application Developer to join our team.

Job Description:

Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform, leveraging best practices and coding standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C: With 4+ years of hands-on experience in iOS app development.
  • iOS Frameworks: Solid understanding of Core Data, Core Animation, and Core Graphics.
  • RESTful APIs: Experience with connecting iOS applications to backend services.
  • Apple's Design Principles: Knowledge of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Unit Testing: Familiarity with Unit Testing and test-driven development.
  • Version Control Systems: Proficiency in Git.
  • Performance Tuning Tools: Experience with Instruments.
  • CocoaPods or Swift Package Manager: Familiarity with CocoaPods or Swift Package Manager for dependency management.
Preferred Skills:
  • SwiftUI and Combine Framework: Experience with SwiftUI and Combine framework.
  • Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Azure or JIRA.
  • App Analytics Tools: Exposure to app analytics tools like Firebase, Crashlytics or Clarity.
  • App Submission and Distribution: Experience with app submission and distribution processes in the App Store.
Main Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  2. Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless communication between the app and the backend.
  3. Coordinate with fellow iOS team members to align on requirements, feature implementation, and code consistency.
  4. Optimize application performance for speed, efficiency, and scalability.
  5. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues reported in production and development environments.
  6. Stay updated with the latest iOS trends, techniques, and technologies.
  7. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding guidelines.
  8. Implement third-party libraries and APIs as needed.
  9. Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless user experiences.
  10. Ensure app compliance with App Store guidelines and requirements.
