Job Title: Structural Designer I

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled structural designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in producing 3D models consistent with industry guidelines and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Annotate, dimension, and detail 2D production drawings in conformance to industry standards.
  • Manage the BIM workflow, including folder organization, sheet sets, geo-location, plots, conversions, and transmittals.
  • Maintain structural BIM/CAD files for use in structural design drawings (clean-up, audit, reference, troubleshooting).
  • Coordinate BIM modeling content and approaches with engineers and clients, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery.
  • Prepare and review project deliverables for client submissions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 0-3 years of experience in preparing structural construction documents using Revit/BIM project delivery.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with Revit software.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with AutoCAD software.
  • Strong understanding of how a building comes together.
  • Ability to think in 3-D.
  • Proficiency with written and verbal communication skills.

This is a full-time position requiring ability to commute/relocate to Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Others:

Preferred qualifications include professional experience in AutoCAD and Revit, preferably from South India.
