About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Hadoop to join our team at SPG Consulting and Solutions Services Pvt Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems using Hadoop.

Your primary focus will be on managing and operating Hadoop clusters, ensuring high availability and performance. You will also be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting various Hadoop components such as HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, HBase, Oozie, Hive, Sqoop, Pig, Kafka, and Ranger.

Additionally, you will have hands-on experience with cluster migration to Azure Cloud and will work closely with other teams to ensure seamless integration of data processing systems with other applications.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent technical skills, a strong understanding of Big Data concepts, and experience working with cloud-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement large-scale data processing systems using Hadoop
  • Manage and operate Hadoop clusters for high availability and performance
  • Configure and troubleshoot various Hadoop components
  • Migrate Hadoop clusters to Azure Cloud
  • Work closely with other teams for seamless integration of data processing systems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Big Data engineering with Hadoop
  • Hands-on experience with Hadoop components such as HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, HBase, Oozie, Hive, Sqoop, Pig, Kafka, and Ranger
  • Experience with cluster migration to Azure Cloud
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Estimated Salary Range:

The estimated salary range for this position is ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
