About the Role:

As a Senior Finance Manager at Betterhalf, you will be responsible for leading the company's financial operations, including vendor management, revenue assurance, and financial reporting. You will also oversee the accounting, statutory filings, and MIS reports of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial operations, including vendor management, revenue assurance, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee accounting, statutory filings, and MIS reports.
  • Prepare financial statements, BRS, and MIS reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Publish payroll processing and vendor payments with accurate reconciliations and workings.
  • Ensure accurate GST/TDS workings and filings.
  • Develop processes and SOPs related to vendor payments and customer receipts.
  • Manage US reporting, tax filings, and India audits.
  • Develop budgets and ensure adherence to AOP by all departments.

About You:

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with prior experience in the accounts/finance department. You should have 2-4 years of experience in accounting, FP&A, reporting, audit, taxation, and have expertise in financial accounting, reporting, statutory filings, making MIS reports, and taxation. You should also have excellent clarity of accounting principles and revenue recognition concepts.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with prior experience in the accounts/finance department.
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting, FP&A, reporting, audit, taxation.
  • Expertise in financial accounting, reporting, statutory filings, making MIS reports, and taxation.
  • Excellent clarity of accounting principles and revenue recognition concepts.
  • Worked in a high-growth environment and independently handled complex projects with a result-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho, Tally, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent grasp of month-end closure reports, making financial statements, and payroll processing.
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is a plus.
  • Experience of knowledge in transfer pricing and US GAAP accounting is a plus.
  • Expertise in working with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
