Financial Reporting Analyst - Project Accounting Expertise

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract, transform, and prepare financial data from source systems for accurate reporting.
  • Design, build, and maintain comprehensive financial variance reports and interactive dashboards.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of financial data, identify variances, and support reconciliation efforts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and provide insights that facilitate effective decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-6 years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets from financial systems like Oracle Time & Labor (OTL).
  • Expertise in data extraction and manipulation using SQL.
  • Strong experience developing reports and dashboards with Strategy (Formerly: MicroStrategy).
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts, forecasting, and project accounting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
