Job Description:

A Quality Assurance Lead plays a pivotal role in driving this effort forward. Their primary responsibility is to define the scope of testing for each release, taking into account requirements and developing comprehensive test plans.

  • Determine Test Scope and Plans: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of high risk and develop targeted testing strategies.
  • Set Testing Metrics and Manage Test Effort: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) such as defect density and open defect count to assess quality and inform resource allocation decisions.
  • Manage and Mentor the QA Team: Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the QA team, providing coaching and mentorship opportunities to enhance skill development.
  • Develop Automation Frameworks: Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using tools like Selenium and BDD frameworks to streamline testing processes.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Participate in agile planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and design reviews; communicate progress updates and coordinate with development, product, and business teams to ensure alignment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing and QA leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency with automation and testing tools such as Selenium, Requests/Postman, TestRail, and BrowserStack.
  • Ability to develop automation frameworks using languages like Python and BDD frameworks.
  • Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools like Jira and Quality Center.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
