Job Title: Senior Laboratory Operations Manager">

Job Summary:

We seek an experienced and highly skilled Senior Laboratory Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our laboratory. The successful candidate will have a strong background in laboratory management, quality control, and analytical testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the laboratory, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Manage laboratory personnel, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Coordinate and schedule laboratory assignments to analysts/lab technicians.
  • Receive, compile, and verify data resulting from laboratory testing.
  • Analyze and compile quality control sample results to ensure accuracy and operating efficiency of processes and/or testing equipment.
  • Ensure training of laboratory analysts.
  • Control lab equipment and supply inventory, coordinate replacement or repair of faulty equipment and supplies, and perform instrument calibrations and maintain verifications as per schedule.
  • Act as second-line support to the Laboratory Manager in their absence.
  • Follow up and close out on NCRs, investigative preventative action, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Establish and maintain internal and external client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Micro/Biochem/Biotech.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a service industry, preferably in laboratory operations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge and experience in operations within the testing, inspection, and certification industry.
