We are seeking a skilled Scientific Content Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in medical science and writing.

About the Role:

  • This position involves developing high-quality scientific, medical, and educational materials using scientific expertise, including slides, abstracts, manuscripts, and meeting materials.
  • You will work closely with clients, healthcare professionals, internal stakeholders, and vendors to build trusting relationships and anticipate their needs.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively communicating with team members, authors, clients, and vendors.
  • Continuing professional development through workshops, seminars, and trainings is encouraged to enhance your skills and contribute to organizational objectives.
  • You may participate in client meetings and support senior team members as needed.
  • Working closely with client directors, you will develop ideas and execute effective medical communications initiatives in the digital space.
  • It is crucial that all materials follow client requirements, SOPs, style guides, client templates, client preferences, and internal SOPs.
  • Maintaining awareness of developments across therapeutic areas or disciplines, you will contribute to making cutting-edge research accessible to specific audiences.
  • You will share best practices and client preferences to develop skills within the medical communications team.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in relevant fields of scientific writing is required.
  • A PhD/MD (Pharmacology), PhD (Life Sciences), or PharmD with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication is necessary.
  • Experience working on publications is desirable.
  • A clear, concise, scientific writing style with high attention to detail and excellent language skills is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with clients, are essential.
  • The ability to adapt writing style to different materials and target audiences is necessary.
  • A basic knowledge of biostatistics is required.
  • Literature reviewing and evaluation capabilities are essential.
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office is necessary.
