Database Specialist Job Opportunity

The role involves creating, installing and managing databases. A senior database administrator is required to provision, maintain, and scale critical data storage and intelligence platforms.

This position requires building, maintaining, and scaling production services and server farms across multiple global data centers and public cloud providers.

Collaboration with other team members is necessary for managing both production SQL-based and Cassandra/NoSQL databases.

  • Manage mission-critical high transaction rate databases including configuration, administration, monitoring, security management, performance optimization, replication, troubleshooting, and backup of traditional SQL databases (MySQL/Percona) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra/MongoDB).
  • Install, configure, and upgrade nodes in high availability customer production clusters.
  • Manage an international 24x7 multi-site production infrastructure powering services, including deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security.
