We are seeking a highly skilled Drilling and Completion Engineer to join our team at Reliance Industries Limited.

Job Description:

  • Provide drilling engineering and supervision support on the rig for ongoing operations, ensuring compliance with drilling programs and sound engineering practices.

  • Prepare daily drilling reports, 5-day operational forecasts, and event reports to capture operations and document events.

  • Identify materials and personnel required for upcoming operations based on drilling programs and plan material movement and logistics.

  • Record lessons learned, identify improvement opportunities for future operations, and document them for further review and approval.

  • Evaluate rig specifications and layout requirements to meet alternative field development scenarios.

  • Review discovery well and offset wells and develop optimized drilling/completion designs for development.

  • Study well data received from Sub-surface teams and prepare Well Design as per D&C standards and workflow processes.

  • Prepare casing, running, and cementation and P&A programs, drill bit and BHA selection, and directional profile.

  • Monitor daily operations activities and may go well-site to provide engineering support to well operations teams.

  • Closely monitor well operations and assist with technical/logistical support, plan material and personnel movement with service companies.

  • Participate in hazard identification (HAZID), hazard operability (HAZOP) meetings, and preparation of SOW and RFP for completion equipment and its technical evaluation.

  • Fully conversant with and able to use drilling engineering software such as Compass, Well Plan, Wellcat or similar commercially available programs.
