Aviation Systems Design Engineer Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Systems Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing efficient baggage handling systems, cargo handling systems, and passenger boarding bridges.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop efficient baggage handling systems, including check-in conveyors, in-line screening, sortation, makeup, and reclaim systems.
  • Perform capacity analysis and equipment sizing and design for baggage handling and cargo systems based on passenger and cargo forecasts.
  • Support the planning and design of passenger boarding bridge systems, ensuring compatibility with aircraft types, apron layout, and terminal interfaces.
  • Contribute to the design of air cargo terminals, including flow planning, storage layouts, and handling equipment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • 0-3 years of experience in aviation systems design or relevant engineering fields.
  • Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
