Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Define and implement India HR strategy, contribute to overall India business strategy as a member of the leadership team, and monitor and adapt HR strategy to meet evolving business needs.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and employment standards, implement company health and safety, CSR, and code of conduct policies, manage legal and disciplinary procedures.
- Talent Acquisition and Development: Oversee recruitment process, develop and implement onboarding and induction programs for new employees, analyze skills development needs and create relevant training initiatives, manage employee performance reviews, career development, and succession planning.
- Compensation and Benefits: Conduct salary surveys, advise on compensation and remuneration strategies, manage employee insurance and benefits plans, ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Employee Relations: Provide HR consulting services to employees and managers, manage employee relations, address complaints and grievances, resolve conflicts, promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- HR Operations and Administration: Oversee all HR administrative functions, including employee records and HRIS management, provide timely and accurate HR reporting on key metrics such as headcount, staff costs, turnover, and employee satisfaction.
- Leadership and People Management: Communicate a compelling vision, inspire a sense of purpose within the HR team, delegate responsibility, coach team members, develop their capabilities, foster diversity and inclusion within the organization, drive results and take ownership of team performance, build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in HR management and development within a large international organization.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, proficiency in using HR metrics, analytics, and systems for data-driven decision-making.
- Proven experience across all core HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation & benefits, and HR compliance.
- Outstanding interpersonal, relationship-building, and employee coaching skills, skilled in handling employee issues and disputes, with a strong understanding of labor laws and ethical practices.
- Excellent organizational management skills, budget management experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
- Strong people engagement and development skills.
