Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

As a key member of our QA Automation Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn and understand the deception domain and product functionality.
  • API validation of the SaaS infrastructure and product.
  • Build automation for API validation.
  • Work with product management to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  • Design and develop tests from a deception perspective.
  • Validate product installation across environments (hardware and cloud).
  • Test execution and bug reporting.
  • Self-development and upskilling to bring value to the role and company.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 4 to 6 years hands-on experience in QA (Automation) at product companies or 4 to 6 years hands-on experience in DevOps QA at SaaS companies.
  • At least 3 years hands-on experience of microservice and API validation.
  • Clear and in-depth understanding of the product functionality.
  • Strong ability to analyze requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and execution of test cases and debugging issues.
  • Strong hands-on experience in API automation.
  • Experience in test plan preparation, test case design, and test execution.
  • Good understanding of Operating System and Networking functioning.
  • Extensive knowledge in testing methodologies.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging ability.
  • Good communication skills and an attitude to find solutions by interacting with engineers across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Candidates with Kubernetes experience are preferred.
  • Experience in security product companies is an added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft Active Directory is an added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience testing on Cloud platforms like GCP and/or AWS and/or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience in Vulnerability and Exploits is an added advantage.
