Job Role Overview


We are seeking a skilled Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing BIM models, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Verify the accuracy of models and drawings based on BIM standards and project workflow guidelines.
  • Develop expertise in modeling dry utilities.
  • Maintain and synchronize models and drawings daily with cloud collaboration platforms.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
  • Provide regular progress updates to supervisors.
  • Ensure accurate recording of exported information.
  • Implement quality control measures.
  • Support company safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines regarding design changes and model updates.
  • Achieve compliance with business engineering process (BEP) and project workflow criteria.
  • Foster adherence to BIM content standards and development procedures.
  • Configure and maintain Seed and Model Templates.
  • Publish drawing sets to the cloud for review and feedback.
  • Prepare discipline models for coordination meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, specifically electrical engineering.
  • Certification or experience in Civil3D/Navisworks.
  • Proficiency in working collaboratively on cloud-based collaborative design environments (CDEs).
