Job Title: Creative YouTube Producer

Location: Remote

Experience: 3+ years in digital content creation or video storytelling

Reports to: Senior YouTube Content & Growth Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly creative and self-driven YouTube Producer who can own the ideation, scripting, and production.

You will work closely with writers, editors, designers, and the strategy team to create engaging content that builds viewership and subscriber growth.

This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes YouTube, knows what works (and what doesn't), and is obsessed with creating thumb-stopping content that balances storytelling, trends, and SEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create IPs: Research trending topics, analyze competitors, and pitch original video concepts tailored to the brand's niche and audience.
  2. Scripting & Storytelling: Craft compelling scripts that combine storytelling, education, and entertainment - optimized for viewer retention.
  3. End-to-End Video Production: Lead the process from ideation to execution - including scripting, filming, editing oversight, and publishing.
  4. Project Management: Coordinate with editors, designers, voiceover artists, and other collaborators to ensure on-time, high-quality video delivery.
  6. YouTube Optimization: Write informative titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails.
  7. Performance Analysis: Track video metrics and retention analytics. Make data-backed decisions to improve future content.

Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of experience in video content creation or digital storytelling, preferably for YouTube.
  2. Strong scriptwriting and storytelling skills
  3. Deep understanding of YouTube's algorithm, SEO, analytics, and audience psychology.
  4. Hands-on experience with video production (camera work, editing knowledge, lighting, audio) is a plus.
  5. Familiarity with tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Notion, Frame.io, etc.
  6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and iterative environment.

Bonus Points If You:

  1. Have your own successful YouTube channel or have scaled one for a brand/creator.
  2. Can wear multiple hats - from scripting to filming to editing.
  3. Have experience working with influencer/content creator teams.
  4. Understand virality, trend cycles, and online culture.
