Job Title:
Backend Engineer - Visual AIWe are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to lead the development of our visual AI system. The successful candidate will design and deploy a scalable, production-ready system that powers our calorie-counting app.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement a photo recognition system that accurately identifies food items and calculates nutritional information.
- Develop public APIs for uploading images and retrieving nutritional data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Benchmark and optimize system performance to meet scalability requirements.
- 8+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on scalability and high-performance systems.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, including design patterns and architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
