Ring, a leading technology company, is looking for an experienced Data Analytics Specialist for Strategic Insights to join its Business Intelligence team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in driving business strategy and decision-making through data-driven insights.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, interpretation, and visualization, with experience working with large datasets. You will be responsible for developing models and tools, conducting statistical analyses, and creating tailored dashboards to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data models, warehouses, and ETL pipelines to support business intelligence initiatives
  • Analyze large datasets using SQL, scripting languages (Python), and statistical packages (R, SAS, Matlab)
  • Create data visualizations and reports using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions
  • Design and implement data governance policies to ensure data quality and security
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, interpretation, and visualization
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline development
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Quicksight
  • Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (Python), and statistical packages (R, SAS, Matlab)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS
  • Knowledge of data mining and machine learning techniques
  • certifications in data science, analytics, or related fields

About the Team:

The Ring Data Science and Engineering (RDSE) Org is responsible for the data strategy, architecture, governance, science, and software services that power experiences with data. The central Data Science and Analytics team (within RDSE) is responsible for core business metrics, shared data models, AI/ML models, business intelligence dashboards, and business analysis/science support.
