Backend Architect & Engineer

This role involves the design and implementation of scalable backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines for an AI-powered SaaS platform. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise in areas such as OOP, data structures and algorithms, system scalability, and cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and deliver highly scalable backend systems and APIs that meet business requirements.
  • Build responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces and dashboards using React.js and Redux.
  • Evaluate and ensure platform robustness, security, and high availability to support real-time operations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into elegant technical solutions.
  • Drive engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, code reviews, observability) to maintain high-quality software.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in backend development, including REST APIs, Python, Django, Docker, PostgreSQL/RDS, MongoDB, Redis, and AWS/GCP. They should also have good frontend skills including React.js, Redux, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Material UI, and charting libraries.

Additionally, the candidate should have a solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, and system scalability. Experience solving system design and data scalability challenges is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in SaaS, supply chain tech, quick commerce, or logistics platforms is preferred but not mandatory.
