Role Profile

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead warehouse operations and drive excellence in service delivery, process improvement, and team management within DHL Supply Chain.


Responsibilities
  1. Overall responsibility for warehouse operations, ensuring seamless execution of receipt, storage, and dispatch processes.
  2. Day-to-day liaison with customers, handling queries, concerns, and coordinating logistics activities.
  3. Close collaboration with warehouse teams to ensure effective problem-solving, swift issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  4. Liaise with finance teams to ensure sound financial understanding and correlation with operational metrics.
  5. Establish and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations.
  6. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic plans.
  7. Provide coaching and mentoring to junior staff members to support their growth and development.
  8. Represent DHL Supply Chain at various stakeholders' meetings and forums, promoting services and building relationships.
