At the heart of our organization lies a vital role - Desktop Support Engineer. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled professional to manage and maintain the IT infrastructure of our client, a Private Equity firm.
This individual will play a pivotal part in maintaining the functionality and reliability of our IT environment, empowering employees to work efficiently and effectively. With a high degree of independence and trust, yet never isolated, this engineer will be supported by Engineering team leads and every other technology team member.
Key responsibilities include administering Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, providing support for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) infrastructure, including user provisioning and issue resolution. Incident and service request management processes must be utilized to ensure timely resolution of user issues and requests.
A successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office applications. Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange, and other network administration tools is also required. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential, as is strong customer service and communication ability.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 3-5 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role. They will also hold relevant certifications such as MS-900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, MS-700: Managing Microsoft Teams, AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, and Nexthink Fundamentals.
