  • Developing and maintaining a community environment that promotes collaboration and productivity
  • Organizing events and activities to engage members and foster connections
  • Working closely with local businesses to plan and execute events that benefit both the community and the center
  • Continuously measuring member satisfaction and making improvements to enhance their experience
  • Ensuring the front desk is always manned by a community team member
  • Conceptualizing and executing community initiatives to promote relationships among members
  • Managing membership billing, check-ins, and check-outs for hourly or day-pass members
  • Conducting tours for potential new members
  • Attending to member needs and resolving issues promptly
  • Managing membership waiting lists and ensuring all members are enrolled on the CoWrks App
  • Gathering data on member business objectives and identifying services that can help them achieve their goals
  • Supervising in-building events and escalating any issues that arise
  • Collaborating with Operations teams to ensure operational efficiency and cleanliness of the center
  • Assisting the Community Manager in building policies related to guest registration, security, and building procedures
  • Providing daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Community Manager
  • Liaising with Facilities and IT Support teams to resolve member issues
  • Conceptualizing and rolling out initiatives to promote CoWrks
  • Liaising with Communications, Marketing, and Technology teams to ensure digital communications are conceptualized and executed prior to events
  • Implementing new initiatives, policies, and processes to improve operational efficiency and create stronger, more engaged communities
  • Inspecting center amenities and services daily
  • Raising maintenance tickets through the ticketing platform when necessary
  • Preparing center expense reports for review by the Community Development Council
  • Sending procurement requirements to respective teams in a timely manner
  • Working with the marketing team to ensure required visibility for the CoWrks location
  • Managing lead generation and sales efforts to drive auxiliary revenue streams
  • Conducting research on potential members and developing tailored marketing strategies
  • Operating within the framework set by CoWrks and embodying its values and ethos
  • Promoting member offerings across Cowrks

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Leading the development and execution of community programs and initiatives
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with members, stakeholders, and partners
  • Driving engagement and participation in community activities and events
  • Monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness and impact
  • Identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, and implementing changes as needed

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in community engagement, program management, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
