Job Title: Data Engineer

About the Position:

We're seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our global Distribution team. As a member of this team, you'll be working on high-profile projects that require analytical solutions for sales people.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data warehouses and analytics suites using state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Become proficient in Big Data technologies such as Spark and Databricks.
  • Develop complex data transformations and execute SQL/Spark queries efficiently.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams of technologists to deliver high-quality software.
  • Apply best development practices and effectively utilize various technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field (computer science, mathematics, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in Big Data.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (Python/Scala) and Big Data technologies (Spark/Databricks).
  • Strong experience in executing complex data analysis and running complex SQL/Spark queries.
  • Good understanding and experience with Agile methodologies and delivery.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build partnerships with stakeholders.
