**Job Title:** Cloud Data Architect Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data architectures on the cloud.

Your primary focus will be on developing scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, EC2, EMR, Serverless, Athena, AWS Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications.

 Responsibilities
  • Design and implement large-scale data architectures on the cloud using AWS services.
  • Develop scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, EC2, EMR, Serverless, Athena, AWS Glue, Lambda, and Step Functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications.
  • Work on complex projects that involve big data processing, data warehousing, and real-time analytics.
 Requirements
  • 7-9 years of IT experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with AWS-related projects.
  • AWS Certification at Associate Level or Professional Level is desired.
  • In-depth knowledge of the following AWS Services: S3, EC2, EMR, Serverless, Athena, AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions.
  • Cloud Databases (required): AWS Aurora, Singlestore, RedShift, Snowflake.
  • Big Data (required): Hadoop, Hive, Spark, YARN.
  • Programming Language (required): Scala, Python, Shell Scripts, PySpark.
  • Operating System (required): Any flavor of Linux, Windows.
  • Strong SQL skills are essential.
  • Orchestration Tools (required): Apache Airflow.
  • Expertise in developing ETL workflows with complex transformations like SCD, deduplications, aggregations.
  • Thorough understanding of AWS VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, and Route Tables is necessary.
  • Self-motivated and quick learner, able to adapt to new AWS Services or Big Data Technologies as required.
