Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Technical Consultant. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying solutions for an array of technologies.

You will work closely with a collaborative team, mentoring associates and ensuring that development efforts are well-documented and delivered with quality. Your expertise in open-source and cloud technologies will be instrumental in driving customer success and growth.

  • Participate on project teams to deploy solutions across open-source and cloud technologies.
  • Architect and design technology solutions involving challenges such as storage, messaging, streaming, analysis, scalability, development operations, and security.
  • Support pre-sales Professional Services teams to drive open-source and cloud technologies providing technical expertise to customers.
  • Contribute to customer requirements and design to achieve customer business goals, contributing to scoping, planning, implementing, testing, and methodology.
  • Participate in development and testing activities in customer engagements with limited supervision.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of customer-facing experience.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, securing, and deploying large-scale applications and solutions.
  • Awareness of one major cloud vendor environment (development, access, migration).
  • Proven skills in a given area (measured by certification/approved training completion/proven abilities).
  • Strong development skills in open-source and cloud technologies.
  • Moderate skills integrating third-party tools and solutions.
  • Experience in at least one development language (Java, Python, etc.)
  • Experience in at least one messaging protocol (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS, etc.).
