Financial Collector

Job Summary:

The primary objective of this position is to oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts from customers or clients.

This role requires effective communication and negotiation skills for interacting with customers and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for debt collection, analyzing delinquent accounts, and preparing reports on collections status.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in accounts receivable and collections, as well as experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Develop and implement effective collection strategies for outstanding debts.
• Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and determine appropriate actions.
• Communicate with customers to negotiate payment plans and resolve disputes.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment-related inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities, including customer interactions and payment arrangements.

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CS) certification.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. Master's degree may be preferred.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong analytical mindset to assess data and trends for effective collection strategies.
• Familiarity with collection software and tools for managing accounts receivable.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
