Job Title:

SOC L2 Specialist - Information Security Expert

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to the L1 team, investigating incidents, and ensuring adherence to security policies.

Key responsibilities include analyzing incident metrics, identifying patterns and anomalies, and performing incident response to eliminate threats to the network.

Also, the SOC L2 Specialist will monitor SIEM and logging systems for potential network threats and assist in triage of service requests from automated sensors and internal requests for assistance.

This role is perfect for individuals with a strong background in information security and experience in managing a SOC. Knowledge of industry-recognized analysis frameworks, cloud computing fundamentals, EDR, DLP, and firewall configuration is a must.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience in Information Security & 3+ year experience in managing the SOC
  • Knowledge of industry recognized analysis frameworks (Kill Chain, Diamond Model, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST Incident Response, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing Fundamentals, EDR, DLP, Firewall
