Senior Quality Assurance Professional

Key Skills:

  • Strong background in software testing methodologies and principles.
  • Expertise in developing test automation frameworks and maintaining existing ones.
  • 6+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automated approaches.
  • Proficiency in various testing practices, such as unit, load, endurance, and cross-platform testing, integrated within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working with continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, Kibana, Grafana).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with UI testing, REST protocols, and microservice architecture.
  • Mobile QA Engineering requirements and skills.
  • Proficiency in languages like Java/Kotlin, Swift, and their usage under CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to work in agile environments, participating in Scrum methodologies.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, and maintains all aspects of testing.
  • Collaborates with Product Owners and development teams on acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
  • Creates and optimizes test frameworks, integrating them into deployment pipelines.
  • Participates in code reviews for production and test code to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Monitors test runs, application errors, and performance.
  • Serves as a central point for information flow, keeping the team informed, and contributing to releases and defect tracking.
  • Shares best testing and quality practices and processes across projects.
  • Promotes and coaches the team towards a quality-focused mindset.
  • Influences and leads the team towards continuous improvement and best testing practices.
  • Represents the QA Center of Practice, promoting their practices and influencing their strategy.
