Junior Analyst Position Available

A junior analyst is required to join our team and contribute to various projects in the development sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, including research, monitoring & evaluation, digital solutions, and policy analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct primary and secondary research for baseline-endline studies
  • Support policy analysis and research publication development
  • Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preliminary analysis
  • Prepare research briefs and summary reports
  • Support needs assessment studies and impact evaluations
Data Management & Visualization
  • Assist in survey design and data collection tool development
  • Help maintain project databases and documentation
Content Development & Social Media Support
  • Assist in creating information, education, and communication materials
  • Support script development for awareness content
  • Help in documentation of success stories and case studies
  • Create engaging social media content for various platforms
  • Assist in social media posting and community engagement activities
  • Support development of visual content and infographics for various platforms
Project Support
  • Provide research support to senior team members
  • Assist in client presentation preparation
  • Support field survey coordination and data collection
  • Help in project documentation and reporting

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Master's degree in Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, MSW, MBA (Rural Management) or related field
  • Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis), Strong analytical and quantitative skills, Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi & Odia.
  • Clear understanding and fluency in Odia language (reading/writing/speaking) is required
  • BASIC knowledge of social media platforms and content creation tools
