About the Role:

The Dynamics ERP Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying customized solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and enhance our financial and operational systems through tailored solutions.
  • Take a hands-on role in designing, developing, and implementing customizations and configurations for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations to meet specific business needs.
  • Develop and manage integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O and other systems using Data Entities, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and custom APIs.
  • Utilize X++ for custom development, including creating and modifying forms, reports, and data entities.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the accuracy and performance of custom solutions and configurations.
  • Provide L3 technical support for Dynamics 365 F&O, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system-related problems.
  • Collaborate with support teams to address user-reported issues and provide solutions.
  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements, offer technical insights, and ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
  • Assist in the training of end-users and support staff, developing user guides and training materials as needed.
  • Share responsibility with teammates for occasional after-hours on-call rotation for support of production-level systems.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations development, including customizations and integrations.

Competencies:

  • High level of hands-on experience with X++ programming language and development within Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations modules, including finance, supply chain management, and project management.
  • Experience with Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with Data Entities, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, and integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of SQL and data management best practices.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work successfully with teams across the organization.
  • Willing to learn new technologies and architectures and apply them accordingly.
  • Knowledge of backend development best practices.
  • Effective problem-resolution skills.
  • Unit testing and test-driven development experience.
