Job Description

The role of the transfer pricing consultant is to provide expertise in the field of transfer pricing, helping clients navigate the complexities of international tax laws and regulations.

As a key resource on client engagements, you will be responsible for undertaking research and understanding the information received from clients, putting it to logical conclusion and discussing it with the client engagement team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding the Indian Income-tax Act and transfer pricing compliance work
  • Preparation of TP documentation, Master File and Country-by-Country report compliances
  • Reviewing Form 3CEB, drafting and vetting of documents such as submissions, agreements, reports, etc.
  • Undertaking TP assessments, filing DRP applications, appeal before CIT A and ITAT
  • Issuing opinions and memorandums on various issues relating to Indian laws and international tax across various sectors
  • Undertaking filings of APA, MAP applications

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Qualification: A qualified Chartered Accountant or a postgraduate degree preferably MBA or PGDM from a reputed institute
  • Demonstrate technical competence in our capabilities and take a practical business-driven approach to solving complex client challenges
  • Be up-to-date with key technical, functional skills and industry trends
  • Support and lead certain engagement activities from planning through to implementation
  • Identify and flag any follow-on engagement opportunities
  • Have strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative
  • Have comfort in interacting with senior executives within the firm and at the client
  • Have strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility
