Quality Assurance Specialist Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by developing and implementing automated testing scripts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and maintain automated testing scripts using tools such as Selenium and Appium
    • Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to deliver high-quality software features
    • Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to drive quality improvement initiatives
    • Work with developers to ensure automation-friendly code is written throughout the development lifecycle
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance team efficiency

Requirements:

  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
    • Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium and Appium
    • Knowledge of SQL and database concepts
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
    • Effective communication and analytical skills
