We are seeking to fill a position in the field of database operations.


Role:
Database Operations

Experience: 3 to 10 years

This is a permanent role with a pharmaceutical company that values innovation, quality, and excellence.

Responsibilities include day-to-day administration, monitoring, and support for Oracle databases (19c/21c and above).

Develop scripts/tools (Python, Shell, Ansible, Terraform) to automate repetitive tasks (patching, health checks, provisioning, monitoring).


Support and administer workloads across on-premises, Exadata Cloud at Customer (ExaCC), and public cloud platforms (OCI, AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure, GCP Cloud).

Improve service qualification and database lifecycle management through automation at an enterprise scale.

Work on AI-driven insights to improve observability, reliability, proactive incident prevention. Manage performance tuning, backup/recovery (RMAN, Data Guard), patching, upgrades.

Ensure database availability, resiliency, and security compliance 24/7/365.
