Senior Sports Content Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sports Content Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our editorial staff, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content about sports celebrities from a fan's perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality articles on sports news, ensuring speed, accuracy, and depth.
  • Maintain awareness of live sports events, team updates, and trending sports news to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to produce exceptional content that resonates with fans.
  • Create fresh ideas for content that engages a global audience.
  • Evaluate and refine content to ensure it meets journalistic standards of accuracy, ethics, and objectivity.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in English with exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Adept at conducting thorough research and crafting well-structured narratives.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience in news writing, preferably in sports.
  • Passionate about either writing or sports (preferably American sports).
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress is a plus.
