Software Development Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned software development professional to lead our frontend engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving the development of complex software applications.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and developing our frontend apps, collaborating with designers and product teams to deliver high-quality features, and mentoring junior engineers to ensure code excellence.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement the technical vision for our frontend apps, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to define and deliver new features and products.
  • Lead the development of automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment processes to ensure seamless delivery of software updates.
  • Mentor and review code for junior engineers to uphold the highest standards of coding excellence.
  • Drive innovation in UI/UX—quickly prototype and implement the latest technologies for frictionless user journeys.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in React.js and React Native app development.
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Redux, and UI frameworks (such as Material UI).
  • Strong background in unit/automated testing and continuous integration (CI/CD).
  • Track record of optimizing performance and ensuring application security.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing complex app state.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and effective cross-functional collaboration.
