The role of Solution Architect is to provide technical leadership and expertise in the design and implementation of manufacturing execution systems (MES) and manufacturing operation management (MOM) solutions. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of industry customer needs and the value proposition of MES/MOM.

Key responsibilities include supporting sales cycles, defining solution context, transforming customer requirements into specific solution architecture, defending proposals, collaborating with geography portfolio teams, leading strategic consulting projects, analyzing competitor strengths and weaknesses, working with product vendors, supporting industry analyst audits, producing reusable content, and more.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10-15 years of experience in field of Manufacturing Execution system/Manufacturing operation management in discrete industries
  • Minimum 5 years in presales and solutioning Manufacturing Execution system, Manufacturing operation management
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in leading the presales activities for MES/MOM practice
  • End-to-end MES/MOM implementation experience including machine connectivity, ERP, and other system connectivity
  • Experience of end-to-end implementation of any one or two MES/MOM products like DS Apriso, SAP ME/DMC or Siemens OpsCenter -Discrete
  • Well-versed with international standards like MESA, ISA 95
  • Manufacturing consulting experience and business orientation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
